Program FAQs

There are three ways to file a claim:

1. Online at AllstateProtectionPlans.com/service
2. Through our free app, which you can find in the Google Play or Apple App Store

Yes, as long as you are set up in Service Power, you'll be able to service your own customers’ repairs. 

Allstate Protection Plans protects major appliances, TVs, pro-audio, home theater, outdoor grills, air conditioners, garbage disposals, trash compactors and other miscellaneous electronics, plus small appliances.

Yes. Allstate Protection Plans offers plans for furniture, rugs, and mattresses.

To order replenishment in-store merchandise, please log into the Dealer Portal, click on "Dealer Resources," then "Reorder Signage and Brochures."

Enrollment with Allstate Protection Plans is completely free. All program-provided merchandising and sales collateral are paid for by BrandSource and Allstate Protection Plans. You just pay for the protection plans you sell.

Customers can protect their electronics within 90 days of item purchase. Customers can protect their appliances within 180 days of purchase. However, some benefits like Spoiled Food and Missed Laundry will only apply to plans bought within 30 days of appliance purchase.

If the manufacturer is unwilling or unable to honor the item’s warranty, Allstate may still resolve the claim in certain cases with the appropriate documentation:

• Manufacturer or carrier statement that they are denying the claim request and the reason

• Any searches or other tools used to attempt to contact manufacturer or carrier

• Please also document:

  • Manufacturer or carrier contact information (phone number, email, website)

  • Date and time of call

  • Any claim/case/incident number

Yes, Allstate Protection Plans covers up to $300 for food loss for major appliance plans only.

Allstate Protection Plans protection starts the day a customer purchases their item or, for advanced orders, the date they take possession of their item.

Most items come with a manufacturer’s warranty that lasts 90 days to one year from the date of purchase. If there is an issue during this time that is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, customers will be referred to the manufacturer for service.
