Most manufacturers’ warranties only cover one specific item for a set amount of time. The manufacturer’s warranty also usually only covers defects in materials or workmanship. Most don’t cover power surges or breakdowns during normal use.
But with the Whole Home Protection Plan, you can cover as many eligible items—new and existing—for as long as your plan is active. The plan covers mechanical and electrical failures during normal use, including power surges, plus life's accidents like drops and spills. No proof of purchase is required, and you don’t need to register your products.
Coverage starts as soon as you purchase the plan.
In most cases, homeowner’s and renter’s insurance will cover a loss due to theft, fire, wind or storm damage. The Whole Home Protection Plan will cover the repair or replacement of your covered items in the event of a mechanical or electrical failure during normal use including power surges.
