- Do I need to save my receipt?- Your receipt is required to file a claim, but no worries— we can save it for you in case you ever need to file a claim in the future: - Take a picture of your receipt with your smartphone and text the photo to 202202.
- You will receive a verification text confirming that we have received your receipt.
- You can also save your receipt by creating an account at Walmartprotection.com.
 
- How can I transfer my plan?- First, find the plan you want to transfer here
- Click on the plan you want to transfer
- Then, click "Transfer plan" in the Quick Links box to the right
 
- Do I need to register my Walmart Protection Plan?- No, you do not need to register your plan. However, your receipt is required to file a claim - so registering now can save time if you ever need to file a claim in the future: - Take a picture of your receipt with your smartphone and text the photo to 202202.
