Our Core Values video

I think our culture was defined early on, but the culture and the values were not defined top-down. 

There was agency. Everyone felt like they mattered. 

It starts with our core values. What sets us apart are how much these core values are instilled in everything that we do.

Pop quiz, do I know all of them? Is there's six? Be an entrepreneur. Make an impact. People come first. Customer…something. And integrity. There's one more. Innovate. 

What our culture is all about; it's about getting stuff done. It's about people taking ownership of situations, whether it's an opportunity they see to go do something great or whether it's a problem that needs fixing.

We are at our best, right, when we galvanize our efforts against a big opportunity and and see that opportunity to make impact. 

Innovating and constantly questioning how we do things and how we could do them better is one of the values that I see exhibited on an absolutely daily basis. 

We build a lot of cool technology, but we don't aim to do it as build cool technology. It's what do our customers need and how can we help them. 

Customer obsession is about putting yourselves in the shoes of the customer. That we are treating our customers the way, the way we would want to be treated, or our families would want to be treated.

One of the things that I'm incredibly proud of is that we always look to do the right thing, um, and do the right thing when it's hard. And for me, that's what integrity's all about.

The people at APP, the entrepreneurial spirit runs high. 

We're not hierarchical or waiting for someone to tell us to do something. Everyone comes up with creative ideas and owns the solution and jumps in. 

But there is never a time when we're like, oh yeah, that's good enough. Like our, our service is great. We're already best in industry. Cool. No, nobody ever thinks like that. It's all about how can we get even better. 

It's absolutely true that people come first. We want our employees to be happy and feel like they can thrive in this environment and constantly challenge themselves to do better. 

The people that we've hired over the years and the people that have stayed with us and, uh, and that's soul that exists in the company. It's, it's, it's, it's hard to define. It's hard to measure it. Um, but it's special.
