Research shows that smartphone owners are far more likely to damage their phones than to have them lost or stolen. Other protection plan providers charge premium prices to cover loss and theft, but in practice only a small percentage of smartphone owners ever need this coverage.
SquareTrade doesn’t include loss and theft coverage in our plans so that we can pass the savings onto our customers, while providing them with the coverage they do need: fast, flexible protection for accidental damage and mechanical/electrical failures during normal use.
