You can also add additional years of coverage or Accidental Damage Protection on most items for an extra fee.
When you file a claim, we make a fast assessment and send you a pre-paid shipping label for smaller items, or a full shipping kit for laptops. Larger items receive in-home service.
Once we receive the item, we'll either have it fixed and on its way back or you'll be paid the item's full purchase price within 5 business days, guaranteed. You can track the entire process online.
And it's our policy to approve every valid claim.

Accidental Damage Protection extends your Care Plan terms to include damage outside normal wear and tear, such as water damage and breakage. It does not include willful damage to items. There is a $50 deductible when claiming on a damaged item; issues determined to be normal-use mechanical or electrical failures are not subject to any deductibles, and are covered under the standard Care Plan terms.
All repairs and reimbursements are made within five business days after receipt of the item at SquareTrade's repair depot. Does not include shipping time to and from the depot. Reimbursements are made instantly through PayPal.
