SquareTrade Care Plans are built to get your claim resolved fast and with a minimum of fuss. We will fix your problem within 5 days or your warranty's on us!

Number 1
You call us. Our reps will ask a few questions to see if they can fix things over the phone. If not, your claim is processed that day.
Exceptions to the Rules.
For laptops, we always send out a pre-paid express shipping kit specially made to keep your computer safe during transit. It's sent back the same way.

For big items like desktops, televisions larger than 37" and appliances, we arrange for in-home service. We pick up the tab, naturally.

Number 2
You send it in (most items). We'll give you a postage-paid shipping label to mail your item to us. Then one of two things happens.

Number 3
If it's quicker or more cost-effective, we'll pay you the full item purchase price - minus shipping if you used our label (only the minimum postage fee will be deducted).

Number 4
Otherwise, our experts will fix your item. We'll mail your item back to you at no cost, and you're back in business.


We take care of you within 5 days - Guaranteed.
We will pay you the full replacement value OR fix your item and ship it back to you within 5 business days of receiving the item at our depot. For big items with in-home service, we will have assigned you a local store within 5 business days of being notified of a valid issue.

If we don't meet our service guarantee, tell us. We will gladly make your warranty free of cost to you.
