SquareTrade and ADR Associates in Partnership to Provide Online Dispute Resolution Services to B2B Marketplaces

SAN FRANCISCO - July 5, 2000 - SquareTrade, the leading innovator in online trust development, reputation enhancement and dispute resolution for e-commerce announced today a partnership with ADR Associates, L.L.C., to expand SquareTrade's role in providing dispute resolution services to solve complex online disputes. Headquartered in Washington, D.C. and New York, with panelists throughout the United States and beyond, ADR Associates will deploy its experienced mediators and arbitrators to work with SquareTrade and use its patent-pending dispute resolution solution for online transactions.

The partnership between SquareTrade and ADR Associates will build on the formation of the SquareTrade Business Panel and will expand SquareTrade's ability to handle high-end business and commercial disputes. In the past 25 years, ADR Associates' principals have handled national and international cases in the full range of commercial, financial and insurance disputes. Members of the Business Panel, including partners of ADR Associates, will leverage their experience handling these types of multi-million dollar cases to resolve online disputes using SquareTrade's service and technology.

In addition, any online entrepreneur or business can apply for the SquareTrade Seal, for display on a Web site or auction posting.
